The UK Area Election Committee (AEC) is pleased to announce the final results of the 2025 UK elections to the World Zionist Congress, as agreed by the AEC on Wednesday 30 July. This marks the first time in many years that open elections to the Congress were held in the UK with a voter turnout of 10,651 far exceeding previous elections.
To promote diversity in representation, the AEC implemented a cap of five mandates per slate. On 23 July, the Zionist Supreme Court issued a ruling that changed the method for redistributing surplus votes among slates surpassing the election threshold of 1/19 of the total vote.
In allocating the mandates to the slates, the UK AEC ensured full adherence to this ruling as well as to the previously agreed election rules, which were clearly posted and accessible on the voting platform throughout the process.
The result of the final mandate allocation, as determined by the AEC in accordance with all legal and procedural guidelines, is as follows:
Eretz HaKodesh: 5 mandates
Our Israel – the joint list of Liberal, Masorti and Reform Judaism: 5 mandates
Shas Olami UK: 3 mandates
Jewish Labour – Meretz: 3 mandates
Orthodox Israel Coalition (OIC) – Mizrachi UK: 3 mandates
All other slates: 0 mandates
The raw vote totals received by each slate were as follows:
Eretz HaKodesh: 4,529
Our Israel – the joint list of Liberal, Masorti and Reform Judaism: 2,088
Shas Olami UK: 1,153
Jewish Labour – Meretz: 1,062
Orthodox Israel Coalition (OIC) – Mizrachi UK: 1,005
Jabotinsky’s Israel – Stand With IDF: 370
Kol Israel: 325
Israel Solidarity Campaign UK: 66
Hanoar Hatzioni: 53
Total: 10,651
The AEC thanks the co-chairs and their deputies and all slates, candidates, and voters for their participation in the election.
